TrackMan the Danish developer of the worlds most accurate ball measuring system is happy to announce that TrackMan customer
Loughborough University
used its advanced radar system to develop "Adidas Jabulani" the official match ball for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Loughborough University has a custom build TrackMan used for research and development in multiple sports.
The ball is constructed using a new design, consisting of eight thermally-bonded, three-dimensional panels. The surface of the ball is textured with grooves that are intended to improve the ball's aerodynamics.
